And The Hits Keep Coming

In EVERYTHING give thanks, for this is the will of God... In everything God? Yes, in everything! Even in the death of my husband! This is so very hard! Yet God tells us in His Word that even in the most difficult things, the things we don't understand, the painful things, the heartache and loss we are still to give thanks to Him. Why?? Because He is in control, He sees our future and He knows what lies ahead and He knows the plans He has for us. I know there are deep theological issues also but on the six week anniversary of the day my Husband died I am resting today in the peace that God is in control and that I can trust Him even in the deep pain and loss I am feeling and yes, hard as it is I can thank Him that He is in control and not me!
